I haven't been well for many years… mobility issues, breathing problems, lymphedema, obesity, and a plethora of other health problems.
Then, I had gastric sleeve surgery on May 21st of this year…. I have lost 115 pounds, I'm no longer on oxygen, I no longer use a walker or a cane, and my legs are getting stronger every day…. I made this decision when my amazing and best blessing I could ever have, my son, told me he was afraid of losing me.
I admit, this is a major struggle for my daily living. And this surgery is not for the weak.
But I'm thankful that I did it all by myself.
