I have a unique way I budget. I get paid once a month. Once I figured out my budget. I buy money orders for rent and utilities. I have my utilities on the companies budget program so it’s the same every month. I buy gift cards for gas, groceries and a entertainment card enough for 1 visit for my family. The money I want to save I put in money orders to make it harder to spend frivolously. If I have to go home, get the money order, cash the money order then go back and purchase the item. It most really be worth all that work. I also divid up my yearly insurance payments and put them in monthly money orders.
