Not sure if this is what you're having issues with, but I learned this from support today, "the points for the $5.00 deposit is calculated on Monday 12 PM PST."

I have found that my points for posting to the Forum or reading the Article of the Day don't update until after a certain time. So, I can post and read, but the system doesn't give my points until after 8pm CST.

That's weird…
