Just out of curiosity, who here feels that they currently have an adequate amount of money put away for retirement?
I feel that my current retirement plans are on track to provide me with a pretty good retirement income. I am also in my mid-thirties with lots of time to continue saving.
Not quite there, but I am continuing to save for my retirement.
I feel like I'm on track. I used this formula to gauge my progress: Net Worth = Age x Pre-Tax Income / 10. I'm at 124% of where that calculation says I should be which makes me pretty happy.
