Hi Tiffany G
I would start small..get a old cookie jar and dump your change in it..only change no bills–yet. See how much change you can save in a week, two weeks, then a month. Then move up to $1 bills. It is amazing how much you can save daily in coins. Stay positive too –you can save!

Review your budget to see areas that you can cut/trim down that will allow you to save. Additionally, you may want to add savings as a category within your budget. Do not worry if you have to start off small as long as you are consistent your savings will grow.

Consider setting up a direct deposit from your paycheck in a separate account specifically for emergency funds. Automation of saving typically helps break the paycheck to paycheck cycle.
