I use synchrony high yield savings account and love it. Have been using for at least 3 years and that's where I kept my money while saving for a house! I keep my emergency fund there along with another account to save for fencing my yard in, and a 3rd account to put money aside for my dogs vet bills

I have been a Synchrony credit customer for a while and I'm not a fan. Didn't know they even offered a savings account. They cobrand with a lot of stores.
Just be sure your deposits are backed by FDIC and not private insurance.

There are a handful of good options with credit unions but they all have limits on what you can deposit.
I use twin star credit union and blue mountain credit union and like them both.
