Mine is usually a craft or office-supply item I've had my eye on for a while [but know I may or may not use right away…such as white ink, journals, or jump/chain loops.) Usually, I will buy these items maybe every other month or even 3rd month. But, I try to limit myself to below $30.

My splurge is a new piece of clothing…. seem to be finding I need to replace a couple pieces of work clothing as I start working back in the field…. my house clothes are not appropriate to be out & about.

My most recent splurge items have been reusable enjoyment items such as Suessical the Musical CD and some pretty mineral rocks I like to look at: Rose quartz, green flourite, and a palm stone.

Shopping in clearance isles at Walmart, Dollar General any and all stores Spring and fall plus after Christmas ..

I guess I think bigger on my splurge and think more long term. We have a tight budget on everything so that we can take a nice vacation with our kids.

I love Halloween and collect vintage photographs of people dressed up in costumes. The really old ones can be super creepy! They can also be really expensive, so I have to really search to find affordable ones at yard sales, thrift stores, antique shops, etc.
