Reach out to resources in your community for support. Local United Way, Churches, Food Banks, etc. Seek therapy for yourself -very important. Some have a sliding pay scale based upon need. All the best to you!

I'm also dealing with my fiance incarcerated. I never realized how many other people are out there struggling with the same things. I'm just trying to take things one day at a time and do what is right for my children and myself so I hope when my love gets out there is less burden.

Same here. I mean, he's not 'legally' my husband yet, but will be hopefully soon. He's been incarcerated for 4 months so far, and the days just keep getting longer n more stressful. Thankfully, he should be home next Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed that he's actually able to. Sending love and light ur way. I know it's tough, I really do, but I promise things will get better for u n ur family. <3

That's rough :( glad you're talking about how you're feeling. sending you wishes for some joy and comfort for your family, and space for you to rest. Someone else mentioned therapy - not sure where you live but I just found out about sliding scale therapy through openpathcollective.org. The fees start at $30 per session.
