On March 12, the IRS officially launched its new online tax filing tool, DirectFile, in 12 states - https://directfile.irs.gov/

If you used Direct File, we'd love to hear your feedback! What was your experience like?

Not yet but I plan to find out this weekend if I qualify!

Unfortunately, direct file is not yet accessible to me in the State of Michigan; however, when it does become available, I can't wait to apply! I think this is a great opportunity and will give us all a break on another expense!!

I think this is an awesome idea. It sucks it's unavailable in our state (nj)
